Love One Another
Who in the world am I, and why did I give you a gift?
Well, to make a long story short ...
If I were on my deathbed and someone asked me if I had any regrets in life, from my lips to God's ears, this is what I would honestly say ...
"I wish I would've been more generous, grateful, and loving in life.
I wish I would've been more like Santa Claus in spirit and deeds and less like Ebenezer Scrooge (before he changed).
I wish I would've loved one another more as a famous carpenter once commanded.
Sadly, I never became that person because of how poor and lacking I always considered myself to be.
I lived paycheck to paycheck for all of my life and truly believed I would become homeless and needy if I started to give.
Regrettably, I listened to the proverbial devil on my shoulder and gave in to his constant messages of anger, greed, fear, and hate.
All the while, I should've been listening to the proverbial angel on my other shoulder, encouraging me to love more."
Thankfully, by the grace of God, I've been blessed with the gift of life today, and every gifted heartbeat is another chance for me to turn it all around.
Thank you for taking the time to visit me, and God bless.
May you leave here in love, peace, and happiness.
